June 2020 Calendar

Tuesday, June 2– Board Meeting 6:30 PMDivanni’s, 5125 Gus Young, Edina. (Hwy 100 and 50th). All members welcome for dinner.  Board Meeting will be on ZOOM.    7 PM.    Check your email.

THURSDAY, June 4th (every Thursday during the summer). OUTDOOR VOLLEYBALL – 6:30 PM till dark Bassett Creek Park, 32nd and Welcome Ave,
Crystal (Hwy 100 to 36th Ave W, take first left on Welcome, go to 32nd Ave) Parking lot on right.  Questions, contact Laurie B. WEATHER PERMITTING. Bring your own bug spray (BYOBS) and something to drink.


Lunch Bunch — Meet every Sunday noon at (see your newsletter). Bring your own chair and lunch if you want. We social distance in groups of 10 or less and meet for fellowship and prayer. Be sure to check your email for changes or updates.

Monthly social (June 12th, July 10th and August 14th) at Veterans Park, 64th and Portland Ave, Richfield. There will be a few changes – bring your own lawn chair and food. We will meet around 5:30. Miniature golf, volleyball and other yard games will be available. Pray for good weather.

June 20 Sat: 5P. Dakota bike trail. Meet in the parking lot across from the Minnetonka Drive In on Shoreline Dr. in Spring Park. (not Spring Lake Park!!) Cross the street to get on trail behind the restaurant. We’ll head west to St. Bonifacius on Hwy. 7. We can eat outside there, order then. Then back to the drive-in for eats/refreshments. Can’t do Davanni’s. Host Gordon. Cell number in your email.  PS. Minnehaha boat cruises canceled this year.

Friday June 26th  —  Let’s do it again. Because Courage Center is still not open – let’s meet at 5:30 at Veteran’s Park, 64th and Portland, Richfield. Bring your own lawn chair and food. Volleyball courts are open (someone bring the ball), bike and walking trails nearby. Come join the fellowship!

No Friday Night Volleyball
Our space at Courage for Friday night volleyball has been suspended indefinitely by Courage Center due to the pandemic.


It’s been a while
Many of us have extra time to get things done that we’ve been putting off, to start new hobbies, or to improve ourselves. As for me, I learned braille and am reading a suspense novel with my fingers! I’m in chapter one and something bad is going to happen… I can feel it.
