FRIDAY, June 8th – 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm MONTHLY SOCIAL/PICNIC at Veterans Park – 6335 Portland Ave, Richfield. Come join us for food, fun & fellowship at Veterans Park in Richfield. A potluck kicks off the festivities at the pavilion with cards & games. The cost Plates & cutlery will be provided. The park also offers walking trails, playground, a malt shop, a volleyball court and for a nominal extra fee, mini-golf, and swimming. Bring a dish to share and your own beverage.

There will be an overnight camp out on Mari’s roof. Come around 6 PM, we’ll eat about 7 pm
- (She lives in an earth home, the roof is flat with grass) Plymouth.
Bring your tent/camp equipment. (We will be taking inventory for fall trip) We will be having a BBQ, Mari will provide meat, please bring side dishes. We will have a meeting to discuss traveling as a group to the National Parks. We would like to discuss and finalize plans for a trip to one of 3 destinations in middle to late September this year. 1. Bad Lands and Black Hills, SD 2. Theodore Roosevelt Park, ND or 3. Voyagers National Park, MN. We would like to rent one large RV and provide additional van service for others going, so need to determine pricing and interest. We would like to have this be a new annual event. Next year I am suggesting the National Park in the Virgin Islands! If you are at all interested please come and put in your 2 cents towards this year’s trip and future plans. There is kayaking across the street and other adventures planned for the evening of the 30th. Bikes and games welcome.
